Christmas hours 2013
Opening and closing times during the festive season


The Providores dining room will be closing after dinner service on Monday 23rd December and will re-open on Friday 3rd January at midday for lunch.

Our opening hours for the Tapa Room during the festive time is as follows:

“I’ve headed up and designed the kitchens at all four
incarnations of The Sugar Club, starting with the first on
Wellington’s Vivian Street back in 1986. In those days, it was a revelation on the NZ dining scene as I mixed and matched Asian and European flavours and ingredients - something that simply hadn’t been done before. At these dinners, we’ll be celebrating the Wellington and London restaurants, and the recently-opened The Sugar Club on Level 53 of Auckland’s Sky Tower.” Peter Gordon

London Cocktail Week 2013
7th - 13th October

We are joining many London Restaurants for this year's London Cocktail Week! We're working together with our friends at Boxer Gin and with their help we've developed our very own Smoky earl grey & Boxer gin sour.

Tickets are easy to purchase and you'll be issued with a wrist band entitling you to £4.00 cocktails at all participating bars and restaurants. Having expanded into different areas of London, this year's London Cocktail Week promises to be the best yet!

The London Restaurant Festival
7th - 20th October

As part of The London Restaurant Festival this year we are taking part in GRAZE. The idea being, all participating restaurants in each of the three areas assigned within London, will offer small 'grazing' style dishes on their menus, allowing you to design your very own tasting journey! With your ticket, which can be purchased here or through Living Social (If you're a member) will include a complimentary drink at each restaurant. Not shying away from our fusion culture we're putting our very own twist on a traditional Margarita.....

As we mark our 12th birthday, we are constantly reminded that we would not be here without you all. You, our loyal customers have been by our side throughout this journey and we hope we have provided many great dining experiences during this time. I've managed to track down our very first menus from 2001 to see just how much we have evolved over this time.....

Marylebone Summer Fayre
Sunday 16th June

Join us for the Marylebone Summer Fayre 2013, Sunday, 16th June, starting at 10.00 am. We are lucky enough to have a stall directly opposite our restaurant where we will be serving a selection of Providores & Tapa Room food accompanied by delicious summer cocktails. This year we’re also pleased to announce that we’ll be serving takeaway coffee from our very own Volcano coffee cart! So make sure you stop by, say hello and help support us in raising money for Kids Company – the charity chosen by The Howard de Walden Estate - providing practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable inner-city children.

Waitangi Day in the Tapa Room
Wednesday 6th February

Every February 6th, since 1840, New Zealanders have commemorated the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi.  The Providores feel this significant date in our history is well worth some extra special attention and so, to mark the day, we’re presenting a unique, Tapa Room dish - The Waitangi Day Pie, featuring New Zealand’s own Speights Ale - plus a Moa-Feijoa Collins cocktail! And that’s just for starters. Our NZ wine menu will be on hand for you to continue this great celebration

  1. Steak and Speights Ale pie with Mrs Kirkham’s Lancashire cheese, tomato relish and watercress.
  2. 'The Moa-Feijoa Collins’ - 42 below Feijoa vodka, Sipsmith gin, sweetened and topped with soda.
